Syncro Sponsors Annual IWFM Charity Ball

Supporting local charities is part of Syncro’s ethos and this is why we are proud to be sponsoring the annual IWFM North Region Ball this year. Welcoming over 400 workplace and facilities professionals, the prestigious black-tie event has gained serious traction in the past few years, raising tens of thousands of pounds for charities.

Each year the event is themed, but the highly anticipated theme is kept as one of the North’s best kept secrets and is only revealed on the night. The ball includes a three-course meal, live music, entertainment, opportunities to network and a charity raffle.

This year the chosen charity is the Rainbow Trust, set up to support families of children with a life threatening or terminal illness. Thousands of families have to face the difficult reality that their child may die and will struggle to cope on a day to day basis. The Rainbow Trust uses valuable donations to provide support workers for families through these difficult times, including the parents, the unwell child, carers, brothers, sisters and grandparents.

In addition to supporting the Rainbow Trust, proceeds from the event will also go to the IWFM Chairman’s charity, Shelter. Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with poor housing or homelessness by providing advice, support and legal services. The charity campaigns in the hope that one day nobody will need to turn for them for much needed help.
